Riding high on the positive vote for congress, Viveka is preparing for a third consecutive win in Nellore. He has been a pretty active MLA in the district, trying all tricks up his sleeve to keep himslef in the limelight. Being helpful in nature, he has more friends now, than five years ago. His ability to keep the press in good humour is bound to help him in the ensuing election.Confused and divided opposition is an added advantage and there seem to be no hope for the opposition unity in Nellore. His new constituency is Nellore Rural and he doesn't seem to have any formidable leader contesting against him.

Viveka is doing pretty well for a two time MLA, despite mudslinging by his one time pal and sworn enemy (for the time being) Mr.Dolendra Prasad, editor of Zaminryot, the oldest telugu news weekly from Nellore. No one knows what went wrong between these old friends, Dolendra has shifted his allegience to Mega Star's Praja Rajyam Party and his protege, Nellore's first mayor, Ms.Pulimi Sailaja Reddy seems to be on the wrong side of the fence and lost her post. Dolendra is known for his proximity to the former Chief Minister Nedurumalli Janardhan Reddy and probably his political moves originate from the former CM, despite such strong backing for Dolendra, Viveka has emerged victorious in this 'Mayor' proxy fight!

Its time for Viveka to put aside petty politics and focus on the election, all said and done he is the strongest candidate as of now. Congress is also in a very strong position, especially due to the welfare programs of Dr.Y.S.Rajasekara Reddy.There has never been such a positive note for congress in the past, credit goes to YS-Rosaiah combination. YS has emerged as India's most farmer friendly Chief Minister due his loan wavers, Jalayagnam and pro farmer stand. Viveka just got to piggy back on YSR's popularity for a hat trick.
