Panabaka Lakshmi is a two time M.P from Nellore and is also Minsiter of state for health in the central government. She was an out of the blue candidate when she got a congress ticket the first time, she successfully established a good rapport with the high command and managed to wanagle a ticket for the second time despite heavy resistance by the former Chief Minister N.Janardhana Reddy. Thanks to her high profile husband Mr.Krishnaiah,who is a PRO in South Central Railway, Krishnaih is quite popular and a dynamic person with excellent PR skills and has a vast network of friends in the right places. Despite such strengths laxmi doesn't seem to maintain the best PR in the district, surprisingly she is almost isolated.

She is come a long way from being a housewife to a central Minister and managed to maintain a relatively clean image without any scandals of corruption. Hope she continues to enjoy good relationship high command to find a new constituency for the third time, as her present seat has become a general seat and she will not be accomodated in Nellore. As of now she seems to be in a limbo and waitinng for future to unfold.
